The "joy" of couponing!

I Had a awesome coupon day I got $120 of groc at BILO for $42 and change! Tons of plates which i use alot of dureing the summer going to the lake and picnics because most were b1g1f and I had coupons. I love love love the b1g1f deals. I got lysol spray for .50 a can at walgreens useing a $2.00 coupon and getting back RR which i used to get Kotex and more RR. This was a awesome deal I heart lysol! And onto the Joy of couponing. I have ALOT of stockpile with many many items so what I am doing is makeing gift bags with these items that i have ALOT of..salad dressing,lysol,glass plus,marinades, cereal,toothbrush,toothpaste..and on and on you get the picture. When i first started going to whole foods I most of the time get the paper bags with the handles. I knw i should be useing the reuseable ones and i hve one to use now but before i got it i would get these bags well i kept them because i knw they would come in handy so i am takeing the bags and feeling them up with goodies for friends and family tonight when my aunt and uncle came for dinner i sent them home with a bag of goodies and when my best friend comes to visit in 3 weeks i am sending her home with a bag of goodies and id like to make a few more bags for a few other people to give out. I just love that i can give to others and its all because of coupons and free items and it really is a joy for my and my family to be able to do this. I just want to think everyone that i read everyday for all the deals and free items and how much time that each and everyone of you take just to help others save. HAPPY COUPONING!!!

School out for Summer!!

Today was the last day of school for the kids- son will be in 11th grade and daughter will start middle school in the 6th grade next year. I hope that after this weekend when soccer is officaly over that i will be back on track with everything. Im sure we will have a busy summer going to the lake, having picnics at the park and just enjoying everyday life with the family. I know that i will be saving alot no matter what we do just because i take the time and plan ahead. I am truely thankful for everything i have and feel very fortunate. Heres to a great Summer for everyone. Enjoy the sunny days, rainy days- just enjoy life.
